As a sports director, I have been responsible for the strategic planning and management of professional teams in different countries. My approach is focused on identifying, developing and recruiting talent, as well as creating an environment conducive to sporting success
Coaching
For many years, especially the beginning of my career, I was marked by training in youth systems. Normally specialized in the U-16 and U-18 groups, from regional teams to top-level teams and in recent years, mainly in senior football, in different categories at the international level
Advice to national associations
Work that gives real pride, is being able to provide advice to national football associations on issues related to the development of player training programs, the implementation of sports policies and the improvement of football infrastructure in the country
Talent development in international academies
A good part of my development as a coach was in international football academies, where the main objective was to identify and develop the talent of young players from different parts of the world. Proud to have been able to meet and train some players who are now part of professional football
It is not only important to do, but also to know how to teach and above all, to share. During the last years I have shared much of what I have learned in my career with different professionals in the world through talks, congresses, classes and books
Talent scouting in international competitions
I have participated in different international competitions as a talent scout, identifying players with the potential to be signed by different teams and also to participate in camps and different higher-level events
